Madhu Chopra shares her insights on Bollywood stars her daughter Priyanka Chopra has worked with. She called Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan ‘businessmen’.

Priyanka Chopra’s mother, in a new interview, has shared her opinion about some of the big stars of Bollywood that her daughter had shared the screen with. While she heaped praises on Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, she called Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan ‘businessmen’.

In an interview with Filmygyan, Madhu Chopra was asked to describe some of the biggest Bollywood actors. While she called Amitabh Bachchan ‘the most revered person in the industry’, she said that Salman Khan is a ‘true gentleman’. When asked about Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan, she called them both ‘businessman’.

She also spoke about other co-stars of Priyanka like Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor. Tagging Singh as a ‘fun person’, she spoke fondly about Ranbir Kapoor and said, “As a person, I know him to be a very good son.” She also called Alia Bhatt a ‘soothing’ person.

Earlier, Madhu Chopra had revealed how Priyanka Chopra was in tears when the first film offer came to her and that she did not want to be a part. “She got the offer for the South Indian film through somebody. When I told Priyanka about the offer, she was in tears, she said, ‘I am not doing films.’ But she has always been an obedient child. When I told her to accept the offer, she agreed and signed the contract,” she had said in the same interview.

Priyanka will star in ‘Heads of State’ next, alongside Idris Elba and John Cena. Priyanka recently travelled to Australia to shoot for ‘The Bluff’, produced by the Russo Brothers’ AGBO Studios and Amazon MGM Studios.
