Raashi Khanna will be dubbing for her own lines in her forthcoming film.
Raashi KhannaHaving tried her hand at acting and singing, actress Raashi Khanna will next dub for her lines from her forthcoming film, World Famous Lover, starring Vijay Deverakonda. The actress reveals that her director Kranthi Madhav came up with the idea.
“My director was surprised to see me speaking fluently in Telugu on the sets, and encouraged me to dub for my lines,” reveals Raashi Khanna, who adds that the director also found her voice to be unique and well-suited for her character.
The actress’ first tryst with dubbing has been quite memorable. “Dubbing is an art! It can add a lot to a character if done the right way. It made my character more authentic, and at the same time, elevated its emotional arc,” explains the Tholi Prema actress, who is tight-lipped about her role.
“My character has a lot of ups and downs and it wasn’t easy to recreate several emotions. Although it’s been one of the most challenging roles, it’s also been most gratifying as an actor,” she says as she signs off.
