Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna’s enduring love shines through moments of mutual admiration. The ‘Welcome’ actor is not only a caring and loving husband but is also a doting father to his son and daughter.

Akshay recently appeared on Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan’s chat show, ‘Dhawan Karenge’. In the show, he spoke about his wife Twinkle Khanna’s intelligence and expressed how fortunate he feels to be married to her.

Praising his daughter Nitara, Akshay Kumar revealed that she inherited her intelligence from Twinkle Khanna.

He said, “Main to anpadh aadmi hu, zyada padha nahi hu. Main gadha mazdoori karta hu, wo dimaag wali hai.’ (I am an uneducated man, I haven’t studied much. I do the hard work, while she is the one with the brains.)

The actor went on to say that he feels fortunate to have married superstar Rajesh Khanna’s daughter, Twinkle, who is not only a wonderful wife but also a loving mother. He added that having the right life partner makes one’s life perfect.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar was amongst the first few celebrities who stepped out of their house to cast their votes in the Lok Sabha 2024 Election. It was his first vote since he received his Indian citizenship in 2023.

On the work front, Akshay recently wrapped up Jolly LLB 3 with Arshad Warsi in Rajasthan. He will next appear in the official Hindi remake of the Tamil drama film Soorarai Pottru, slated to release in theatres on February 16, 2025.

The actor also has ‘Housefull 5’ which again features an ensemble cast.
