Bollywood actor, Salman Khan is back as a host for the sixteenth season of ‘Bigg Boss’, but this time he got a pay cut. Read on to know why!

Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan is back to hosting the sixteenth season of the reality show, Bigg Boss. Every year, the actor decides to leave the show, but he gets lured in a good deal by the makers. However, this time rumours were rife that the actor had asked for whopping Rs. 1000 crores. But these were just rumours as the actor instead got a pay cut from the last season.

Bigg Boss has become a synonym for Salman Khan. The actor’s unfiltered hosting style and calling a ‘spade’, a spade has won him millions of fans. Many watch the show, just to get a glimpse of Salman on the show. However, every year, something happens that makes the actor rethink his decision of being part of the show.

Now, according to the latest media reports, Salman Khan isn’t charging Rs. 1000 crores, instead he got a pay cut from his previous fees. It is also reported that the digital version of the reality show, Bigg Boss OTT  will not be returning for a second season as the first season didn’t make enough profit.  After this, Salman too has agreed to slash his fees for the upcoming season.

An old report by BollywoodLife.com revealed that Salman had charged a whopping Rs. 350 crores for Bigg Boss 15. So, if we do the calculations, this time, Salman will be getting less than that due to pay cut.
