A bit of a dampener on the Diwali celebrations at Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna’s home is the loss of their dog, Okie. So Akshay decided to do the next best thing and take his family away from the scene to a holiday in Singapore. Being an animal lover Twinkle is naturally upset but apparently their son Aarav is most affected about losing Okie to old age.
While Okie was 14 and Aarav is 12, the boy practically grew up with his dog and is also the one who named him. Okie was very possessive of Aarav and followed him all around the house; they shared a special bond. Apparently, Akki and Twinkle made every effort to save Okie but his fate was inevitable… Naturally, it was very difficult to stop Aarav’s tears and his parents are hoping that Singapore with distract him.
