DCP Hari Om Patnaik (Akshay Kumar) wants to take up the challenge to make Mumbai crime-free after realising that the colleagues of his department are not really committed to reducing Mumbai’s crime rate. He then plots deliberately to topple the individuals who hold significant influence over the illegal activities happening in Mumbai. However, this doesn’t happen like a cake walk and he faces challenges to his trust in law and order. The film is based on the life of Mumbai Police officers and how they tackle criminals and politics.
