On June 17, Akshay Kumar spent an entire day with the officials of the Border Security Force. He even shared pictures from a celebration that took place during his stay wherein he can be seen dancing with the personnel.
Over a month since that, the BSF has now taken to social media to announce that Akshay Kumar contributed Rs. 1 crore to build a school in Kashmir and even joined the foundation-laying ceremony yesterday over a video call. The official page of BSF shared the news with pictures and said, ‘DG BSF Sh Rakesh Asthana along with Sh Akshay Kumar Padma Shri laid foundation stone of Hari Om Bhatia Education Block at Govt Middle School Niru, Kashmir in presence of Smt Anu Asthana, President BWWA & Sh Surendra Panwar, SDG Western Command BSF through weblink today.”
