Recently, Akshay Kumar extended financial help to his ailing friend, film producer Ravi Shrivastava (Read about it on our website, here). Shrivastava, who helped Akshay Kumar launch his career in Bollywood in the year 1991, needed a kidney transplant, a procedure which costs around 15 – 17 lakhs. Akshay Kumar paid up.
Now, the superstar has demonstrated his generosity one more time by donating nine lakhs to a martyr’s family. Jawan Gurnam Singh succumbed to injuries when an infiltration happened in Jammu and Kashmir. Akshay Kumar stepped up, and did his bit, to help the family.
