Akshay Kumar shared the news on his social media platform X (formerly Twitter). He assured his fans that the wait would be worthwhile, promising “five times the entertainment” this time around.

There has been an official statement from the film’s makers, backed by producer Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Tarun Mansukhani. This statement emphasized the franchise’s indebtedness to its audience and expressed optimism for a similar reception for Housefull 5. The decision to postpone the release was driven by the desire to deliver a top-notch cinematic experience. Special focus will be given on enhanced visual effects to ensure the film’s success.

Riteish Deshmukh, a consistent presence in the Housefull series since 2010, has been confirmed as part of the cast, alongside Akshay Kumar. The rest of the cast may feature new faces, adding a fresh dynamic to the popular franchise.

The Housefull franchise, known for its humor, ensemble cast, and entertaining storylines, has seen various directors over the years. Sajid Khan directed the first two installments, while Sajid-Farhad directed the third Housefull movie. The director of the fourth and latest installment was Farhad Samji.
