Producer-director Vipul Shah has recently openly commented on Akshay Kumar’s recent setbacks.
Vipul Shah, who has collaborated with Akshay Kumar on numerous successful box office hits like ‘Namastey London’, ‘Singh Is Kinng’, ‘Aankhen’ and ‘Waqt: The Race Against Time’, among others, recently shared his perspective in an interview with Bollywood Hungama. He likened Akshay’s current career challenges to the ups and downs experienced by cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, whom they both admire as the God of cricket. Shah emphasised that Tendulkar had faced tough phases in his career and received advice from many, but ultimately emerged stronger. He suggested that similar patience and support should be extended to Akshay during his current phase, allowing him the opportunity to bounce back just as Tendulkar did.
The producer-director expressed his belief that an actor with a store of over 100 films possesses a deep understanding of the industry surpassing that of many others. He is confident that Akshay is fully aware of his current track record. Vipul feels that someone like himself offering advice to Kumar is unnecessary, as he trusts Kumar’s own judgment and experience in navigating the industry.
Speaking about Akshay Kumar’s potential comeback, Vipul Shah expressed his belief that Kumar possesses greater intelligence than himself. He confidently stated that Kumar will soon bounce back and deliver blockbuster films, as he has consistently done over the years. Vipul emphasised that offering advice to someone as experienced and senior in the industry as Kumar would be unwise. He firmly believes that Kumar will stage his own comeback in due time.
On the work front, Akshay Kumar has an exciting lineup of films set for release in the near future. Among them are anticipated titles like ‘Housefull 5’, ‘Jolly LLB 3’, ‘Hera Pheri 3’ and ‘Singham Again’.
