It’s official! Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Singham Again’ pushed from Independence Day, will now release on Diwali

Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’ starring Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor, was announced to release on Independence Day 2024. However, the makers have now pushed the release date. Ajay Devgn first hinted at it during the trailer launch of ‘Auron Mein Kya Dum Tha’ in Mumbai on Thursday, June 13.

The actor had said that he is not sure about the release date of ‘Singham Again’ on Independence day as some shoot of the movie is still left. Devgn also added that the team is not in any hurry to just release the film as it would affect the quality of work. Now, the makers have officially announced that ‘Singham Again’ has been pushed to Diwali for a relase.

Interestingly, a while ago, the makers of ‘Pushpa 2’ have also announced the film’s release date to be August 15. So, clearly, the makers of ‘Singham Again’ would also be wanting to avoid clash between these two biggies who have the potential to bring in those huge numbers at the box office. The clash of these biggies would not have been good for the business of both. However, there could be a possibility that ‘Pushpa 2’ may also be postponed.
Other movies like ‘Vedaa’, ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and ‘Stree 2’ are now releasing on Independence Day and even they wouldn’t want to clash with ‘Pushpa 2’. Well, we shall wait for the official announcement from the makers of the Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna starrer regarding the change in release date.
Meanwhile, ‘Singham Again’ is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. A while ago, Kareena had revealed that though the film is that typical male testosterone kind of a film, she and Deepika have very meaty roles in the movie. Deepika who is pregnant and expecting her first baby in September has shot for her portions a while ago, before her baby bump started appearing more. The actress will be seen doing some high-octane action in the movie.
