The ever-gorgeous Raashi Khanna, in her nearly decade-old career, has never abided by any rules. The lively-cum-bold actress hailing from “Delhi Sheher” finds this moment to be a really important time in cinema to embrace her power as an artist and is growing stronger than ever by dispersing her network into a Pan-India mode now. She is known to speak her heart out in all the interviews she gives. In an exclusive interview with the Real Estate Guru too, she spoke about her cosy little house filled with love that she bought in Hyderabad. Going by what she said in this interview, just like how cute she looks, her house too seems to be built equally cutely, matching her aura.

Coming from Delhi, the actress has settled down in Hyderabad because of her work and she even bought her dream house here in this city, where she lives with her parents. She decided to shift her base completely to Hyderabad as she felt this is the land that has given her much to celebrate. My dream house is in Hyderabad. I call it my dream house because it’s very homely, very comforting and very cosy. “I live with my parents and it is the best,” said the actress with extreme joy. When asked what the one thing that we would find in her house as we entered, she quickly replied, “LOVE.” Yes, you heard it right! You’ll find love in my house. You will be treated with so much love that anyone will feel at home. I think that is more important than any colour themes or the way it looks. I think it’s the vibes of the house that are very important. ”

It seems like Raashi is surely not a materialistic person and is someone who wants to live a simple, homely life. Defining her house further, she said, “It’s a three-bedroom apartment with a lovely balcony. My father loves flowers. So he keeps the balcony area intact with all the flowers. My mother is a homemaker, so she keeps cooking for me in the kitchen and spoils me. It’s a cosy house.” Did you know Raashii, who is hardly seen at any of the tinsel town parties, is also an avid reader? For the love of books she has for books, she also built a small library inside her house. “I love reading. My favourite book is ‘Only Love is Real’ by Dr. Brian Weiss. That’s why I built a small library inside my house where my parents and I spend some cosy time.”

Let’s hear another interesting aspect of her house: “My house is filled with yellow lights, because I love yellow more than white lights, because it makes the house cosier.” On a lighter note, she shares with us, “You can freely call me environmentally friendly. It’s all about taking small steps to make this planet a better place for our community in the city too. I myself plant saplings as often as I can. I have also made it a birthday tradition so people who follow me can be inspired in whatever little way they can. If you conserve the environment now, it will improve the health of it for our upcoming generations too.
