Raashi Khanna To Make A Re-Entry Into Bollywood
Unlike earlier, top actresses of Tollywood are not staying in their cocoon and restricting themselves to Telugu or South Indian films but also expanding their capabilities beyond and are entering into Bollywood and even OTT platforms and many more.As we all know, Samantha Akkineni starred in the ‘Family Man-2’, Tamannaah has signed a web series too and Sai Pallavi was seen in an anthology.
On the other hand, Rashmika too is seen signing offers from Bollywood.
Now, it’s the turn of Raashi Khanna as she is ready to make her entry into Bollywood alongside Shahid Kapoor in an Amazon Original Series.
The series will also star Vijay Sethupathi in an important role.This web series will be directed by the makers of ‘Family Man’ as well, that is Raj and DK.This web series is an action-thriller and will reportedly commence its shooting schedules in January 2021.
This is the second time in 8 years Raashi Khanna’s fans will see her featuring in Bollywood after her first being ‘Madras Cafe’ alongside John Abraham in 2013 which marks her debut in the film industry.2020 has been great for her as she is currently acting in 4 projects: ‘Aranmanai 3’ in Tamil alongside Arya; ‘Methavi’ in Tamil with Ahun and Jiva; ‘Tughlaq Durbar’ where she replaced Aditi Rao Hydari and ‘Shaitan Ka Bachcha’ co-starring Siddharth.Let’s see how 2021 turns out for this beauty with her film releases and web series.
