‘Sarfira’ trailer will release on June 18. Directed by National Award-winning director Sudha Kongara, the Akshay Kumar starrer is all set to hit the screens on July 12.

The official poster of Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Sarfira’ is out! On Friday, June 14, Akshay took to his Instagram handle to share the poster of his upcoming flick, ‘Sarfira’. The title of Akshay Kumar’s film, the remake of Suriya’s ‘Soorarai Pottru’, was revealed on February 13. While sharing the poster, Akshay also revealed the trailer date of the film. ‘Sarfira’ trailer will release on June 18. Directed by National Award-winning director Sudha Kongara, the film is all set to hit the screens on July 12.

In the poster, Akshay is seen sporting a rugged look with cool shades on, and the caption on the poster read: “Dream so big, they call you crazy”.

Sharing his poster from ‘Sarfira’, Akshay wrote, ”The story of a man who dared to dream big! And for me this is a story, a character, a film, an opportunity of a lifetime! #Sarfira trailer out on 18th June.
Catch Sarfira on 12th July, only in cinemas (sic)”.

‘Sarfira’ is set in the world of startups and aviation. It’s a journey of ambition, determination, and persuing dreams. The movie promises to captivate the moviegoers with its motivating and powerful narrative and encourages common men to dream big in life.

Apart from Akshay Kumar, ‘Sarfira’ has an ensemble cast of Paresh Rawal, Radhika Madan, and Seema Biswas in key roles.

Apart from directing, Sudha has also written ‘Sarfira’ with Shalini Ushadevi, with dialogues penned by Pooja Tolani. It is produced by Aruna Bhatia (Cape of Good Films), South superstars Suriya and Jyotika (2D Entertainment) and Vikram Malhotra (Abundantia Entertainment). FYI, Sudha also helmed ‘Soorarai Pottru’.

Akshay Kumar who is best in social dramas is back with the genre. He had earlier starred in movies like ‘Airlift’, ‘Baby’, ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ and ‘Special 26’ among others. So, let’s see what’s new he has to offer with ‘Sarfira’.
