Tiger Shroff Calls Akshay Kumar ‘Our Own Tom Cruise’, Says ‘I Used To Think…’

Tiger Shroff praises Akshay Kumar, compares him to Tom Cruise.

Tiger Shroff has once again compared his Bade Miyan Chote Miyan co-star Akshay Kumar to Tom Cruise. In a recent interview, Tiger talked about working with Akshay when he shared that he was very “grateful” for the opportunity. He revealed that he grew up watching Akshay Kumar and expressed that he got to learn a lot from the Khiladi superstar on the sets of BMCM.

“he most special thing was to work with the original action hero, our very own Tom Cruise, Mr Akshay Kumar. I have grown up idolising him and now actually sharing the screen with him, I am very grateful. I have learnt a lot from him and there’s a lot to learn from him. I got to see him up close and personal, got to spend a lot of time with him on and off the screen,” Tiger said at the India Today Conclave 2024.

“I used to think I wake up early. I generally wake up at 6 or 6:30 am but sir wakes up at 4:30 am. I used to get wake up calls from him and we used to do our exercise together before the shoot,” the actor added.

This is not the first time that Tiger Shroff has called Akshay Kumar India’s Tom Cruise. Last month, the two actors were in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, to promote the film when Tiger showered praises on Akshay and said, “I think it is a matter of great pride because I remember Tom Cruise doing these amazing stunts in Mission Impossible and we have our own Indian Tom Cruise here who has done these kinds of stunts years back.”
