On February 16, 2017, Indian actress Raashi Khanna paid a visit to the Rainbow Children’s Hospital located in Hyderabad. On International Childhood Cancer Day, the actress received an invitation to attend as a special guest.

It was observed that Khanna was presenting gifts to the kids. Engaging with the kids and shaking a leg was a lot of fun for the actress. Speaking to the crowd, Rashi expressed her inspiration from the advancements made in the fight against cancer.

A well-known actress in the South Indian film industry, Ms. Khanna also starred in the Bollywood film ‘Madras Café.’ In the spy thriller film, Rashi portrayed Ruby, the Indian intelligence officer’s wife, who was portrayed by John Abraham. The actress debuted in the 2014 film ‘Manam,’ and she has since appeared in Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil films.

As cancer is a potentially fatal illness, many of them have experienced personal struggles with their health and general well-being. In our nation, where the number of patients is rising and the average age of a victim is falling, raising awareness of cancer is crucial. Even though these kids had been going through a lot, they were really upbeat and joined in the fun, joyfully dancing with Rashi and posing for pictures.
