Dingdong Dantes pens touching poem for Marian Rivera on her 37th birthday

Dingdong Dantes wrote a touching message to his wife Marian Rivera on her 37th birthday.

Marian turned a year older on Thursday, August 12, 2021.

Dingdong uploaded a photo of his wife on his Instagram account and included a short poem he wrote for Marian.

It read, “Marimar ang programa kung saan una ko siyang nakilala

“At ang tawag ko noon sa kaniya’y suplada

“Pero ngayon, katorseng taon na ang nakalipas

“Mahal na ang tawag ko sa kaniya.

“Maligayang kaarawan sa Mestizang Caviteña

“Salamat sa Kanya at may isang Marian Rivera…oops.

“Misis Dantes na pala [kiss emoji]”

MARIAN’S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

Aside from his birthday message, Dingdong organized an intimate dinner at their home in Makati City.

Dingdong was able to capture his wife’s precious moments with their children, Zia and Sixto.

In one of his posts, Dingdong noted that the mini celebration strictly followed the ECQ guidelines.

The Kapuso actor also thanked event stylist Teddy Manuel for helping him style the simple dinner.

Dingdong wrote, “Basta’t gusto (at within ECQ guidelines) may paraan. At kahit tayo-tayo lang—puwede naman!

“Salamat @teddymanuel sa last minute na tulong sa pagbuo nitong napakagandang kainan.”

Meanwhile, Teddy used Marian’s favorite flowers and colors—blush pink and white—for his set-up.

Teddy wrote, “Her favorite colors & blooms. Earlier setup for @marianrivera ‘s Birthday Celebration prepared by @dongdantes [emoji]”

Dingdong also put out a photo revealing his wife’s reaction while watching the video greetings from some of their friends and family members.

Lastly, on behalf of his wife, he thanked their fans and friends for the sweet messages.

In a separate post on Instagram, he wrote, “Since we can not be with each other physically, your warm wishes definitely made her happy. Thank you for your video greetings.”

Meanwhile, Marian took to her official Instagram account to express how grateful she is for all the blessings she received on her 37th birthday.

She wrote, “Thankful for 37 years of life. I am filled with gratitude for all of you and for all the blessings [emoji]”

Birthday wishes from fans and friends filled the comments section of Dingdong’s Instagram posts.
