Netizens were left heartbroken after waiting the whole day on Deepika Padukone’s Instagram for her husband Ranveer Singh’s birthday post. Ranveer Singh celebrated his 38th birthday on 6th July and fans were left disappointed after waiting the whole day for a lovey-dovey post from his wife Deepika Padukone. Deepika did not wish Ranveer on social media and that diminished the enthusiasm of ‘Deepveer’ fans. Fans flooded the comments section of Deepika’s Instagram post asking for her whereabouts.

One ardent fan wrote, “Me waiting for Ranveer’s bdy wish post on Deepika’s insta whole day”, another said, “Post something [it is your] hubby’s birthday”. Other people from the film fraternity jumped into wishing the versatile actor on his birthday, alongside filmmaker Karan Johar. In a heartfelt post on Instagram saying, “It’s ROCKY day!!!! Happiest birthday to this magnanimous force of nature…thank you for giving all your heart to our kahaani…Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Lots of love to you always. He posted a bunch of fun behind the scene photos of the movie.

This birthday month is extra-special for Ranveer Singh because it marks the release of his first Karan Johar movie towards the end of the month and his second collaboration with his ‘Gullyboy’ co-star Alia Bhatt. The trailer was launched with much fanfare and received positive feedback from fans and the fraternity. Alia Bhatt too took to Instagram to wish her RRKPK co-star.

Deepika Padukone, on the other hand, is gearing up for her upcoming movies ‘Project K’ and ‘Fighter’ opposite Prabhas and Hrithik Roshan respectively.

‘Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani’ releases on 28th of this month.
