Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol got married to his longtime girlfriend Drisha Acharya on June 18, 2023, in the presence of their family members and a very few close friends. The couple also hosted a lavish and star-studded grand reception at Taj Lands which was attended by many prominent B-town stars like Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. DeepVeer also performed with the newlyweds Karan and Drisha and the video of the same is doing the rounds on the internet.

In the viral clip, the couple could be seen dancing at the reception, and Deepika even did her trademark step with her hands lifted in the air. While the Simmba star looked handsome in a white Sherwani and pants with a matching stole and sunglasses, Deepika Padukone looked pretty in a black anarkali. She left her hair open and opted for subtle makeup. Soon after their video surfaced online, netizens pointed out they look low on energy and that they lacked enthusiasm. One user commented, “Ranveer Deepika why so low on energy.” Another wrote, “Inko kya hogya hai energy dikh nhi rehi.” Of the comments can be read, “Haha deepika is not at all a graceful dancer. She puts in a lot of effort (which i admire) for her movie dances..to be a decent dancer but she’s definitely not graceful.” 

Another viral video showed Ranveer singing ‘Main Nikla Gaddi Leke’ song while Sunny and his son Karan were dancing on the stage. Later, the Padmaavat star also joined them and was seen grooving on the song.

Among other celebs spotted at Karan Deol’s reception were Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Prem Chopra, Kapil Sharma, Jackie Shroff, Raj Babbar, Anupam Kher, and Shatrughan Sinha. Singer Sonu Nigam performed at the reception and set the stage on fire with his chartbuster songs.
