”I saw Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and I was completely mesmerized. I went on this date with a model and all I could talk about was Anushka. The huge doors opened and the wind flies in my face and right in front of me is Anushka Sharma”. Ranveer talked about Anushka in an old video from the show.

Ranveer and Deepika tied knot in 2018

”So I was sitting on the table and the door was on my left. He (Sanjay Leela Bhansali) has these heavy doors and he lives by the seaside. So, these heavy doors open and the gush of wind comes from the sea. There, Deepika enters wearing this white chikankari, hair blowing due to the sea wind just like some sadgi ki moorat. I was like Oh My God!”. Ranveer said about Deepika recently during the same show.

Ranveer and Deepika tied the knot in November 2018 after dating for several years. During the show, Ranveer disclosed that he had asked Deepika Padukone to marry him in 2015. The memorable moment when Deepika surprised her family with this news was filled with humour. She unveiled her engagement during a family dinner, and her mother was left astounded. Ranveer shared that, over the years, he put in a lot of effort to earn a special place in Deepika’s mother’s heart and is now one of her most beloved individuals.
