2023 has been shaping up pretty well, so far, for two major celebrities – one is the Ambani family’s youngest son – Anant Ambani, who recently got engaged to Radhika Merchant in January.

And the other is Shah Rukh Khan, whose latest film Pathaan has broken almost every record at the box office to become the fastest Hindi film to cross Rs 300 crores.

And as it turns out, both Anant Ambani and SRK have more in common than just good news for this year, for example, their wit and humour.

An old video of King Khan of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, has gone viral on the internet again in which SRK can be seen hosting an event for the Ambanis.

As the actor addresses the audience with Anant Ambani beside him, the two get into friendly banter.

From congratulating Anant on his physical transformation at the time to comparing his own abs with that of Anant’s, Shah Rukh Khan did what he did best and that was to charm people with his witty commentary.

However, little did he know that he might meet his match at the event.

Anant gave a wittier reply to SRK in context to having bigger abs and said, “Aap fikar mat karo, main aapki industry main nahi aa raha. Main yahin hun, Reliance parivaar ke saath.”

SRK folds his hands at that point and says, “Thank god! “Did you hear him, Ranbir? He is not here to give you competition but you guys don’t stop teasing him.”

The Pathaan actor also goes on to narrate childhood instances of knowing Anant when he was merely 6 years old and then tries asking him what his first salary was.

SRK says, “My first salary was Rs.50. What was yours?”, to which, Anant savagely replies saying, “Rehne do, aapko sharam aajayegi (Leave it. You will feel a little embarrassed if I tell you this).”
