Ranveer Singh recently made an appearance at the Red Sea Film Festival where he addressed the backlash following the announcement of his upcoming film, Don 3. Reflecting on the enduring adoration for the film series over the years, he acknowledged the criticism and expressed his intention to infuse his own unique spin into the franchise, aiming to rejuvenate it with his personal touch. 

Speaking about carrying the Don franchise forward, Ranveer said, ‘I’m hoping to make Don my own and give it my spin, my interpretation. It is the handing over of the baton of one of the most loved and revered franchises of Hindi cinema. ‘ In the final remarks, Ranveer emphasized his commitment to honouring the role’s legacy, recognizing the immense reputation of the senior actors who previously portrayed the character.

He expressed gratitude for the significant opportunity, acknowledging the responsibility of carrying forward the legacy of two legendary superstars. Ranveer pledged to give his absolute best, assuring that audiences will witness his utmost dedication and promising to showcase his finest performance, wholeheartedly stepping into the role of Don.

During a previous media conversation, Ranveer Singh expressed his excitement at the prospect of embodying the iconic characters previously portrayed by the legendary Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan in the Don franchise.
