Indian comedian and movie star Vir Das is one celebrity who’s never really scared to say what he really feels.
Whether it’s on politics, films, or anything else under the sun, you can bet your a*s that the Dehradun-born comedian will speak about it or make a joke on it however he feels like.

Now, as you know, apart from the comedy shows that he does all across the world, Vir has also acted in a fair bunch of films.
If you look up, his IMDB page would include films like Delhi Belly, Go Goa Gone, Badmaash Company, and many other films.
This is pretty much enough for people to actually consider them as Bollywood actors, however, according to Vir Das, it’s not the case.
Narrating an incident in his latest stand-up titled How To Unite On Social Media, Vir spoke on he was called a Bollywood star by a Czech newspaper.
The comedian even went on to joke about how he can’t be referred to as a star and especially not in the league as someone like Shah Rukh Khan.
Speaking about King Khan, Vir joked about how women throw their underwear at SRK.
“I am not a Bollywood star. I am a comedian that sometimes does movies. F*cking Shah Rukh Khan is a Bollywood star. The biggest star in the world. Google ‘Shah Rukh Khan’. Women throw their underwear at Shah Rukh Khan. Aunties throw it like cricketer ‘Aye Shah Rukh’…spin.”
“Women have thrown their underwear at me but it is always followed by questions. ‘Vir could you put that in the washing machine please?’ ‘Vir did you wear this?’” he said.
Earlier, Vir had revealed an incident where a cafe staff in Prague had been rude to his mother and father.
Speaking during a stand-up gig, he even connected it with the Will Smith-Chris Rock slap incident. “I’m an Indian man and if you mess with Mumma… A Will Smith is born inside every single Indian man. I don’t care if comedians are getting slapped. You come to an Indian comic (and) you tell us a comedian got slapped, we don’t ask ‘By who?’ We ask ‘with what?’ Sedition. Defamation. Hurting sentiments. What did they get slapped with?” he said.
