In a recent media interaction attended by former Pakistani cricketers, Abdul Razzaq made a controversial statement about Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai.

Former players have expressed strong criticism against the Babar Azam-led Pakistan cricket team in the World Cup 2023. They cited dismal performance of the Green Shirts in the global event where rivals dominated them.

In response to a question, Abdul Razzaq made a controversial statement about Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai.

Surprisingly, instead of halting or condemning his ex-teammate’s remarks, Shahid Afridi was observed laughing and clapping.

Amid questions from Pakistan’s media regarding the team’s performance in the ICC World Cup 2023, Abdul Razzaq provided a shocking example to criticize the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

He said that Younis Khan’s positive intentions as captain instilled confidence in him to improve his performance.

He added that they were talking about intentions of the PCB and the Pakistan cricket team, and the reality was that there was a lack of dedication to nurturing and honing the skills of players.

‘If you think that by marrying Aishwarya Rai a good and pious kid would be born, it would never happen,” he slammed PCB using this analogy citing that the ‘intentions’ of the cricket board must be pure.
