Abdul further mentioned that none of them had the intention to polish and develop the skills of Pakistani players. However, he later also made a disrespectful comment by saying that marrying Aishwarya Rai won’t lead to good and pious kids, and it left everyone in utter rage. For the same reason, Abdul received a lot of hate, and netizens started bashing him for the same. Abdul said:

‘Younis Khan had good intentions as a captain and it gave me confidence to perform better. Right now a lot of talk here is surrounded around the Pakistan team and the players’ performances in the World Cup. I think we do not have the intention to polish and develop the players in Pakistan. If you think that by marrying Aishwarya Rai, a good and pious kid would be born, it would never happen.’
