He got married to veteran actress, Jaya Bachchan in 1973 and the couple is blessed with two beautiful kids, Shweta Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan. Recently, Amitabh Bachchan opened up about his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan and recalled an old memory from his childhood. Taking to his blog, the actor shared his father’s message to him when he got hurt during a boxing match in school. He stated that recently, his wife, Jaya Bachchan came across his father’s book in their library. Elaborating on it, Amitabh wrote:
‘Yes and the fascination gets justified when in the library storing Babuji’s books, you quite by chance come across one that has been signed and dedicated to you, with a short message …One such, came across to me by the wife… a bit moth eaten but still in some legible condition .. marked to me from Cambridge in 1953, during his study there for his thesis ..’

This is not the first time when Amitabh Bachchan had shared an old memory from his childhood. For instance, earlier, in one of the episodes of the game show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 14, the actor shared an incident from his childhood. Talking about the same, the legendary actor revealed that when he was a kid, his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan used to take him for morning walks and would often ask him to repeat multiplication tables for practice.

Recalling the most beautiful phase of his life, the Coolie actor revealed that he used to jump the boundary wall of his college, Sherwood College, in Nainital in order to visit the nearby girls’ school and see them.
