Anil Kapoor attended the 29th Kolkata International Film Festival along with Salman Khan and others, where he lauded Khan, referring to him as a ‘mahanayak’. Anil Kapoor attended the 29th edition of the Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF) with Salman Khan, Shatrughan Sinha and Sonakshi Sinha. The actor, who recently impressed everyone with his acting chops in ‘Animal’, praised Salman Khan and called him a ‘mahanayak’.

Anil Kapoor Kapoor lauded Salman Khan and said, ‘Nakli tiger ayenge aur jayenge par asli tiger ek hi hai. Tiger zinda hai aur tiger zinda rahega! Our mahanayak from Hindi cinema, Salman Khan (Fake tigers may come and go, but there’s only one real tiger. Tiger is alive and will remain alive! Our great hero from Hindi cinema, Salman Khan).’

ANIL AND SALMAN’S COLLABORATIONS

Anil Kapoor and Salman Khan have worked in many films together, and they share an amazing on-screen chemistry. It was visible in films like ‘Biwi No 1’, ‘No Entry’, ‘Race 3’ and ‘Yuvvraaj’. The duo will reportedly be seen in the sequel of ‘No Entry’ next.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan was last seen in ‘Tiger 3’. The film has earned more than Rs 450 crore at the box office. On the other hand, Anil Kapoor played Ranbir Kapoor’s father, Balbir Singh, in the recently released ‘Animal’. He is being praised for his performance in the film.
