Katrina Kaif gave a witty response to Salman Khan after he teased her for copying his iconic towel dance from the hit song ‘Jeene Ke Hain Chaar.’

Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan are currently enjoying the success of their latest film Tiger 3, which was released in theatres on November 12. Recently, Katrina interacted with fans during an AMA session on Instagram. She and her fans were surprised when Salman asked a hilarious question to her during the session.

Katrina’s AMA session on Instagram on Saturday, November 18, had Salman asking, “Jeene Ke… main maine towel use kiya aur aapne Tiger main towel use kiya. Yeh kya copy kat cha raha hai? (I used a towel in the song Jeene Ke and you used a towel in Tiger. Are you copying me?)” Katrina wittily responded to Salman and wrote, “Aapne towel use kiya aur maine towel pehna hai (You used a towel and I’m wearing it).”

The scene went viral after a few glimpses of it were shown in the film’s trailer. In her earlier conversation with Mid-Day, Katrina spoke about the viral scene. She said, “I’m aware that the towel fight sequence at the Hammam from Tiger 3 has gone viral. It was a very, very difficult sequence to shoot because it has incredible hand-to-hand fighting inside a steamy Hammam room, so gripping, fending, landing the punches and the kicks everything was very difficult.”

She added, “Hats off to Adi for thinking of this brilliant scene because I don’t think there has been a fight sequence like this featuring two women on screen in India. The way Maneesh and the action team executed it was just incredible – everything was detailed out to a T. So, it was a total team effort which people are loving.”

During the AMA session, Katrina also shared details about her experience of working with Salman. She shared a picture with Salman and wrote, “I am perpetually stressing and Salman is amused.” She also shared a few glimpses of her intense workout sessions to get into the skin of her character of Zoya. When a fan asked Katrina who suggested she cut her hair for Tiger 3, she said, “Aditya Chopra. I hate cutting my hair, it makes me nervous…but @amitthakurhair was there to hold my hand.” When asked what is her husband and actor Vicky Kaushal doing, she shared a picture of him and revealed that he is busy with the promotions of his upcoming film Sam Bahadur.

Tiger 3 is the third installment in the Tiger franchise following Ek Tha Tiger (2012) by Kabir Khan and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) by Ali Abbas Zaffar. The film, directed by Maneesh Sharma, earned Rs 17 crore on Saturday, pushing its total domestic collection to Rs 217.90 crore.
