Actor Kiara Advani made her much-awaited Cannes debut at the 77th Cannes Film Festival and made an appearance at the Red Sea Film Foundation’s Women in Cinema Gala dinner where she fangirled over American actor Eva Longoria. During her speech at the gala dinner, Kiara also paid tribute to women in the film industry.

In a video going viral on X, Kiara can be seen in a pink and black satin gown with black gloves and a stunning Bulgari necklace. As she addressed the audience, she began her speech by mentioning that it was her first time attending Cannes.

She said, ‘It’s my first time at Cannes. I couldn’t be more grateful to be here with the Red Sea Film Foundation for supporting women for years as we love cinema. As I stand here, I want to take a moment to give gratitude to some of the most powerful women (sic).’ Giving a special mention to the Hollywood actor, she added, ‘Eva Longoria, you are here a big fan moment. Love you.’

She further paid a heartfelt tribute to the women in the industry and continued, ‘Risk-takers, the women who have really paved the way with their resilience and determination to make it easy for us, to make it easy for my generation, to pursue our dreams, and to succeed on our own terms (sic).’
