Amir Khan and his wife Faral Makhdoom have been living separately after it was revealed he was texting bridal model Sumaira asking for provocative photos and sending her flirtatious comments on her body.
The former World Champion boxer reportedly asked the 25-year-old to delete any incriminating messages which read: ‘Think I wana get caught out?”
Since the scandal, it was reported that the 36-year-old and his wife, Faryal are now living apart reports the Mirror.
A source told the
‘She’s going through a very difficult time and choosing to focus on her children while she and Amir continue to co-parent.’
The couple share three children, daughters Lamaisah, 7, Alayna, 5, and a three-year-old son Muhammad.
Khan’s marriage to the mother-of-three is said to be shaky after he approached Sumaira, known as Sumzz Beauty online, eventually asking her to send explicit images.
It is understood that the couple are now living apart and are splitting their time between homes in Dubai and Britain whilst Faryal decides whether she wants to end their 10-year marriage.

The athlete admitted the incident, adding that he makes mistakes when he gets ‘bored.’
‘Maybe I do need help to stop me from messaging other women,’ he admitted.
‘I am willing to go to therapy to stop me sending texts to women who aren’t my wife. I think nowadays with mental health issues, any help goes a long way. It’s definitely something I would do. Things like that do help, so maybe it’s something to think about.’
Faryal confronted her husband at their home in Dubai earlier this month after she heard about him begging a model for saucy pictures. ‘U look good on g string,’ Khan reportedly wrote in one of the messages. He also promised to delete any received photos.
Speaking to The Sun, Khan added: ‘The stupidest thing I did was to comment on this woman’s picture saying ‘nice’. I shouldn’t have done it. I have respect for my wife. I think I do these things out of boredom – I don’t think it’s that I can’t help myself.
