Saif Ali Khan is not a strange name to those who love Indian cinema. The son of Indian cricket legend Mansoor Ali Khan and famous actress Sharmila Tagore¸ Saif Ali Khan grew up in the spotlight.

And people paid even more attention to Khan when Sacred Games – the first film produced entirely by Netflix in India – had his participation. This is Netflix’s latest step to dominate the world’s second largest Internet market and is also an opportunity for Indian stars to reach international audiences.

The special thing about this actor born in 1970 is that he was not only born into a family of Indian A-list stars, but is also the 10th nawab of Pataudi – that is, part of the royal family in the former king. Pataudi country in northern India, according to CNN .

According to Emirates 24/7, Saif Ali Khan became the new nawab of Pataudi in October 2011 in a private ceremony in northern India. He became the 10th nawab of the former Pataudi kingdom after the death of his 70-year-old father in September of the same year.

Pataudi was a princely state in India before India’s independence. And the nawabs were the rulers of the royal family who belonged to the royal family.

However, Khan chose to become an actor instead of living the royal life. He has been a Bollywood star for over 25 years, starring in romantic comedies like Hum Saath-Saath Hain , the crime drama Omkara , and even a Hindi-language animated film by Walt Disney. .

Belonging to the royal family and inheriting the nawab position of the royal kingdom of Pataudi from his father, Saif Ali Khan shared frankly: ‘I don’t want to become a nawab. I think I am a movie actor. That position was not also recognized by the government and that is necessary. We are a democracy and I would rather be an actor.’

Khan had two children – Sarah and Ibrahim – with his first wife Amrita Singh. Soon, Sara will make her first public appearance in Bollywood.

‘She’s quite academic. She studied at Columbia University in New York… When Sara said she wanted to make films, I really wanted to stop her to avoid the unpredictability of the industry. But that’s the profession I I love and appreciate her so much. I was moved when she chose that’ – the Omkara movie star shared.

Currently, Saif Ali Khan is married to superstar Kareena Kapoor (who starred in the famous movie 3 Idiots ) and has a 2-year-old boy with this Bollywood star. The man who ‘abandoned wealth and followed his passion’ said he would continue to participate in many films even at the age of 48.
