Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan were yet again summoned by the Mumbai Police for hours, and as per reports, the former mentioned his frustration for the open firing incident outside his home.

Bollywood actor, Salman Khan is extremely loved for his acting skills and handsome looks. However, he also has a fair share of haters. Thus, on April 14, 2024, a group of men openly fired on Salman’s house when he and his family were reportedly at home.

Soon after that, the Mumbai police began their investigation, and recently, Salman was summoned by the Crime Branch to record his statement. Amidst that, gangster, Lawrence Bishnoi and his brother, Anmol Vishnoi, played a key role in the incident by mentioning that it was a warning for the actor for his alleged involvement in hunting the blackbuck back in 2018.

Salman Khan calls the firing incident a ‘serious threat’ to his family’s lives

As per a report in the Hindustan Times, a Mumbai Police’s official revealed that Salman Khan was summoned by the Mumbai Crime Branch to record his statement on the incident on June 13, 2024. As per the report, the actor was questioned for around four hours, and in his statement, he mentioned, ‘Firing incident, a serious threat to our lives.’ Salman also expressed ‘frustration and exhaustion’, and mentioned that he has been held guilty of the same crime for which he has already paid fines imposed by various courts and also suffered greatly due to the same.

Reportedly, Salman also mentioned that after the incident happened, he even checked from his gallery, but saw no one outside. Shortly after, the building’s security guards informed him about the same. While recording his statement, the actor further shared that he was at his home on the day of the incident, and slept late that night as there was a party at his house. A few hours later, the sound of a bullet woke him up. Thus, without thinking much, he immediately informed the Mumbai Police about the same case.

Arbaaz Khan mentions that this is the third threat that his family has received in the row

Additionally, Salman Khan’s brother, Arbaaz Khan was also called to record his statement, and his session also went on for more than two hours. In his statement, the doting brother stated that the firing incident was not the first time that something like that has taken place. Elaborating more about it, Arbaaz mentioned:

Investigations in the open-firing case outside Salman Khan’s house

After the incident of two bikers firing 5-6 rounds at Salman Khan’s house took place, the police arrested six accused in the firing case. The police arrested Harpal Singh, Sonu Subhashchandra Bishnoi, Mohammed Rafiq Sardar Choudhari, Vicky Kumar Gupta, and Sagar Kumar Pal. Moreover, Anuj Thapan, who was in the custody of the Crime Branch, died by suicide on May 1, 2024.
