Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare are all set to get married in January. The couple’s pre-wedding festivities have already started.

Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta’s daughter Ira Khan is all set to tie the knot with her fiance Nupur Shikhare.

The couple is set to get married in January, and Ira recently shared glimpses of her pre-wedding festivities with Nupur, which also included her mother Reena, and actors Mithila Palkar and Zayn Marie Khan.

In her pictures, Ira seems to be invited for Kelvan ceremony (a pre-wedding function) at Nupur’s house. She dressed in a pink saree and also sported a traditional Maharashtrian nose ring called ‘nath’. She also shared a video of herself lovingly feeding Nupur a morsel of her food and him doing the same in return. She then recites an ‘ukhane‘, which is a popular Marathi wedding tradition in which the bride and the groom recite a short poem with each other’s name in it.

Ira and Nupur got engaged in November 2022 in an intimate ceremony, which was attended by her parents Aamir and Reena, Aamir’s ex wife Kiran Rao along with other close-knit family members and friends. The two will tie the knot on January 3.
Nupur, who is a celebrity fitness trainer, had proposed to Ira in Italy after dating for a few years. Ira had shared photos from her engagement and wrote in the caption, “I have never felt entirely pretty. But I did that day. I felt like a princess. I felt like I could be photographed from any angle with whatever expression and I still looked pretty.”
