Alia Bhatt stepped out for dinner with Ranbir Kapoor and their families to celebrate her sister Shaheen Bhatt’s birthday. The couple who enjoy a massive fan following was clicked making their way inside of the hotel as they greeted the paparazzi. However, soon after a video of their outing was shared online, Alia’s fans noticed that the actor was addressed as “RK’s wife” in the caption of the viral video.

ALIA BHATT FANS FURIOUS AFTER SHE REFERRED AS ‘RK’S WIFE’

Alia Bhatt’s sister Shaheen Bhatt celebrated her birthday with family in Mumbai on November 28 night. She was clicked with sister Alia, brother-in-law Ranbir Kapoor and mother Soni Razdan. While Alia wore black, Ranbir complemented her in white. The birthday girl was dressed in pink. Both Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor waved at the paparazzi outside the restaurant.

However, what left fans disappointed was the caption of a viral video that referred Alia as ‘RK’s wife.’ Fans were quick to remind the paparazzi that she is a self-made actor and has her own identity. One of the fans wrote, ‘Alia is greater than RK,’ while another commented, ‘Can’t you write Ranbir and Alia or Alia and Ranbir?’ A third user chimed in and wrote, ‘Both are famous and successful actors and you described Alia as Ranbir’s wife? she has a name, Alia Bhatt.’

Interestingly, this comes months after Alia Bhatt was also honoured with the Best Actress National Award for her performance in the movie Gangubai Kathiawadi. She shared her award with Kriti Sanon, who received it for her 2021 movie ‘Mimi.’
