Kangana Ranaut, known for her outspoken nature, never shies away from expressing her opinions, even if it involves the prominent Khans of Bollywood – Shah Rukh, Salman, and Aamir.

However, there was a surprising turn when she appeared quite friendly with Salman Khan on Bigg Boss 17 while promoting her film, Tejas, and praised Shah Rukh’s recent hit, Jawan. When asked about her changed attitude towards the Khans in a recent interview, Kangana clarified that her problems were never personal, to begin with. She said that the issues she had with them are slowly being resolved.

“I have never said anything unreasonable about the Khans. My main issue was the shorter female roles (in their films) and the age of the actresses who were cast opposite them. See, how that is changing now. Actresses over 35-40 are becoming the heroines of Khans. So, I have fought for these changes. Otherwise, we used to see the heroines of Khans play their mothers 8-10 years down the line. So, we have fought for these changes,” Kangana told Times Now Navbharat.

When asked if she has become less outspoken, Kangana explained that dealing with multiple defamation cases made her realise it’s a “waste of time” to keep going to court. “I am not scared of speaking against anyone but when you have to go to court, then you feel that this is such a wastage of time,” she said.

Kangana Ranaut has finally opened up on her stand on SRK, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.

Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming film, Tejas, is set to release on October 27. That apart, she is working on her film Emergency, where she portrays the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Her directorial project features Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman and others. Centered around the events of the 1975 Emergency in India, the film is expected to hit the screens next year.
