Wedding bells will soon ring at Aamir Khan’s house. His daughter, Ira Khan, with first wife, Reena Dutta, is all set to get married to fiance Nupur Shikhare on January 3, 2024. The couple got engaged in November last year. Their pre-wedding festivities began with a Kelvan ceremony. Last night, November 6, Ira shared another set of pictures performing some rituals.

IRA KHAN IN FLORAL ORNAMENTS KISSES NUPUR

Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare are headed for a January 2024 wedding. Ahead of the same, their pre-wedding festivities began with a traditional Maharashtrian Kelvan ceremony.

Taking to her Instagram stories on November 6, Ira dropped another set of photos with Nupur as they seemingly attended their pre-wedding ritual. In the photos, Ira can be seen wearing a red saree with golden embroidery and a sleeveless black blouse. She accessorised her look with flower ornaments, including a neckpiece and dainty earrings.

The bride-to-be completed her look with a red bindi on her forehead.

Ira also shared a picture in which she can be seen dropping a cute kiss on Nupur’s cheek.

In another photo, some women can be seen performing a ceremony on Ira while Nupur looks on happily.

WHEN AAMIR ANNOUNCED IRA, NUPUR’S WEDDING DATE

After an intimate and fun-filled intimate engagement in November 2022, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare are all set to tie the knot on January 3. Earlier, rumours suggested that the duo would get married on October 3. However, Ira took to her Instagram stories and politely refuted the rumours.

In an interview with News18, Aamir Khan confirmed that the wedding will mark the beginning of 2024. Aamir confirmed the date and said, ‘Ira is getting married on January 3. The boy she has chosen is – his pet name is Popoye — he is trainer, he has arms like Popoye but his name is Nupur. He is a lovely boy. When Ira was battling depression, he was with her. He is really someone who has stood by her and emotionally supported her. I am happy that they are so happy together. They are very well connected, they really look after each other and care for each other.’
