RANVEER SINGH WANTED TO DO RAMBO

In an interview with Film Companion, Ranveer Singh said, ‘Before becoming an actor, I wanted to become a hero. I used to watch movies like that too – where the guys were shirtless. I loved films like Rambo, Rocky, Commando – these are my heroes! This is what I wanted. So I was very upset when Tiger (Shroff) said he wanted to do Rambo. I was like ‘ye to mujhe karna tha.’ That’s my default.’

ABOUT RAMBO

For the unversed, Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo was set against the backdrop of the Vietnam War and told the story of John Rambo, a troubled war veteran. The desi remake, however, will have a ‘complete overhaul’ as far as the script is concerned. Tiger Shroff looked rugged and tough, quite resembling the original Rambo in the poster. Earlier in 2017, director of Rambo, Siddharth Anand, had revealed the reason for the delay of his remake. As per reports, Tiger Shroff will begin the shoot for Rambo by 2022 end. He will also undergo a rigorous training regime for the same.
