Raashii Khanna had once said in an interview that she did not dream of entering the entertainment industry and wanted to become an IAS officer and serve the nation.

There are many actors in Bollywood who never planned to be a part of the glamour industry but fate had other things in store of them and they became a part of films. Some of these actresses are now a well-known name in the cinema world and one such actress is Raashii Khanna. The beautiful actress made her film debut in 2013. Born on November 30, 1990, Raashii Khanna, 32, has completed her education from Delhi. Raashii has completed her graduation in English from Delhi University and she was a bright student from a young age.

Raashii Khanna had once said in an interview that she did not dream of entering the entertainment industry. According to Raashii, “I was good in studies. Initially I wanted to become a singer but in college I decided to go into administrative services. I wanted to prepare for IAS and become an officer but my luck took me to films. I never dreamt of becoming a model or an actress.

Raashii Khanna did copywriting during her college days and was also associated with the world of advertising. From here, she started getting modeling offers and she became a model. After this, Shoojit Sircar gave her a chance to work in his film ‘Madras Cafe’ opposite John Abraham. This film was released on August 23, 2013.

n her debut film, Raashii Khanna played the role of John Abraham’s wife Ruby Singh. Though Raashi did not have much screen time in the film but her performance was noticed by everyone. The film was made at a budget of Rs 35 crore and it did a business of around Rs 70 crore. Raashii Khanna then made her debut in South cinema with Oohalu Gusagusalade.

Raashii Khanna is a hugely popular actress in South cinema and she has worked in several South films. Raashii Khanna will next be seen in the film ‘Yodha’ with Siddharth Malhotra and Disha Patani. This film is scheduled to release on December 15. According to reports, Raashii Khanna charges around Rs 1 crore for a film and her net worth is estimated to be around Rs 66 crore.
