Check out Priyanka Chopra’s SMUG response on being compared to Deepika Padukone

Priyanka Chopra who has taken B-town by storm yet again was seen promoting Baywatch in Mumbai today. While she brought her Victoria Leeds sass on to impress us, she opened up about a lot of things too! As she spoke about her upcoming Bollywood movies, Quantico and Baywatch, there was a question about being compared with Deepika Padukone and let’s just say, she did not duck it. As Deepika has already made her big ticket Hollywood debut with Vin Diesel’s xXx: Return Of Xander Cage, comparisons between her and the Baywatch babe were obvious. When a media person asked her about the same again, today, PC had the coldest, ‘I-don’t-care-a-damn’ response to the whole question.

She said, “I have always been compared with every other actress since I have been in this industry. Now, I just don’t bother.” Whoa, so does this mean that PC has savagely put Deepika down? Or it is just hype created by the media? Earlier Deepika had opened up about these comparisons too and said that what Priyanka wants from her career is very different from what she wants. In fact, she even took a sly dig at PC’s age claiming that the Quantico star had already won Miss World pageant while she was just in school. Though they occasionally hang out at red carpet events, they are not exactly friends and have not claimed so too.

Priyanka’s Baywatch is coming on June 2 in India to avoid clash with Sachin Tendulkar’s biopic and fifth installment of Johhny Depp’s Pirates of the Carribean. Priyanka is playing the sexy baddie Victoria Leeds in the film and the latest trailer has got us excited to watch her slay on screen!
