Ananya Panday is gearing up for the release of her film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, featuring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav. Before the movie’s release, she discussed her experience working with Deepika Padukone in Gehraiyaan and shared insights into her personal and professional life. She revealed lessons learned from Deepika and the film’s director, Shakun Batra.

During an interview with a leading news portal, Ananya revealed that during the filming of Gehraiyaan she learned that director Shakun Batra and Deepika Padukone are very process-oriented. As a result, she now follows a detailed and thorough process when preparing for a role.

Ananya Panday also mentioned that she prefers to arrive on set fully prepared. She ensures that she not only knows her lines but also familiarises herself with the lines of her co-stars. Ananya emphasised that she doesn’t want to feel stressed or anxious about her dialogue or the details of the scene. Instead, she wants to have a comprehensive understanding of her character, including their eating habits, drinking preferences, and sleeping patterns.

The cast of Gehraiyaan includes Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, and Dhairya Karwa, with supporting roles played by Rajat Kapoor and Naseeruddin Shah. The movie had its premiere on February 11, 2022.

Kho Gaye Hum Kahan tells the story of three friends and marks the directorial debut of Arjun Varain Singh. The movie is set to be released on December 26, 2023.
