Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming film Animal has been making headlines ever since the teaser was released. The makers have now released the second song from the film titled Satranga. The song is crooned by Arijit Singh and the lyrics are by Siddharth-Garima.

The song begins with Ranbir coming home to find his wife, Rashmika (Geetanjali), waiting for him on the occasion of Karwa Chauth. Upon seeing Ranbir, an excited Rashmika wakes up and eagerly pulls him to break her fast and drink water from his hands. However, something happens when Ranbir whispers something, and it suddenly dampens the mood, leaving Rashmika in tears.

Despite this, she continues to break her fast and kisses Ranbir, but an underlying tension remains between the couple. Towards the end of the song, Ranbir informs Geetanjali that he is leaving for somewhere, uncertain if he will return. He advises her not to remarry if he doesn’t come back. Anil Kapoor also makes an appearance in the song.

Earlier this month, the makers of the film released the first track of the film titled ‘Hua Main’. Animal is helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Shakti Kapoor and Bobby Deol among others. Animal will be released in theatres on December 1.

The pre-teaser gave us a glimpse of a new and intense side of Ranbir as he fiercely battles his enemies with an axe.  The director had previously opened up about the film and had said, “These guys are calling this (Kabir Singh) a violent film, I want to tell them I will show them what a violent film will be. Now I am curious, how these guys are going to react. I don’t hate them, (but) I want to see how they feel about my next film (Animal).”
