The Academy Museum Gala is the second biggest event of the Academy, after the big Oscars night, and is organised by the same board.

Stunning in a custom-made Louis Vuitton royal blue velvet gown paired with Cartier jewellery, Deepika turned heads on the red carpet of the event which was attended by the likes of Meryl Streep, Oprah Winfrey, Selena Gomez, Billie Eilish, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jared Leto, Natalie Portman and a host of other A-listers.

It’s been a good year for Deepika whose Pathaan has been a huge blockbuster. Her special appearance in Jawan earned her praise and also propelled the film to big box office. Deepika also appeared on the cover of TIME magazine this year. She is next slated to appear in January biggie Fighter, co-starring Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor, whose teaser drops this week.
