Henna artist Veena Nagda has revealed what Deepika Padukone promised to her when the two worked together on the 2013 film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding video, which the couple shared on the premiere episode of Koffee With Karan season 8, has left their fans overwhelmed. The video has been showered with immense love. Also, many unknown snippets from the grand wedding of the duo in Italy have come to light. The henna artist Veena Nagda has revealed what Deepika promised to her when the two worked together on the 2013 film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

Sharing the wedding video of Ranveer and Deepika on her Instagram account, Veena revealed that when she worked with Deepika during the shoot of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, the actor liked her work so much so that she promised her that she would be the one applying her henna on the day of her wedding.

Veena wrote on Instagram, “A promise she made me during the shoot of yeh jawani hai deewani that I’ll be applying the mehendi at her wedding and she stuck to her words means the world to me.😍😍.” The henna artist expressed gratitude towards Deepika and added, “Thank you for letting me be a part of this beautiful moment in your lives. words cannot express my happiness and love for both of you.😍”

Veena spent 45 days in Udaipur with Deepika during the shoot of the Ayan Mukerji film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. The henna artist found Deepika to be the “nicest person”. In another post, she also revealed that Deepika was very “clear” about her henna design and added, “She was super excited and very perfect about her mehendi, she was very clear about her design. A big thank you to both their families for all their support and love. Thank you for remembering and believing in me @deepikapadukone @ranveersingh.”

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone got married at Lake Como in Italy in 2018. The couple also hosted two wedding receptions in India.
