Deepika Padukone radiated elegance as she graced the red carpet at The Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles, USA. The Gala, organised by the same board behind the Oscars, stands as the second most prestigious stage globally, following the Oscars themselves. The actor looked resplendent in a purple velvet gown at the event.
Styled with open hair and complemented by diamond jewellery, Deepika opted for minimal makeup, allowing her stunning attire to take the centre stage on the red carpet. She took to Instagram stories to share glimpses of her ravishing look from the red carpet event.

The song went on to win the Oscar for Best Original Song, beating out two songs featuring American pop megastars.

The year 2023 witnessed Deepika’s stellar performances in the year’s top two grossers, Pathaan and Jawan. While Jawan raked in a staggering Rs 1,148 crore worldwide, Pathaan secured Rs 1,050 crore at the box office. In both films, she starred alongside Shah Rukh Khan, leaving an indelible mark despite her extended cameo in Jawan. Alongside her box office successes, Deepika also graced the cover of TIME magazine this year.

On the work front, Deepika is gearing up for Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD, where she stars alongside Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan, set for a 2024 theatrical release. Additionally, she is slated to appear in Fighter alongside Hrithik Roshan and in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again,”boasting an ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, and Ranveer Singh.
