Since making headlines on Karan Johar’s show about her ‘open relationship’ with Ranveer Singh prior to his proposal, Deepika Padukone has opened up about her teenage struggles, her adjustment to’moving into a new city’ as a teenager, and how she manages to’spend quality time’ with her husband despite their busy schedules. During her interview with Vogue India, Deepika recalled her difficult times, saying, ‘I had a lot on my plate at the time, both personally and professionally.’ When I was a teenager starting a new job in a new place, I had no family or friends. I was responsible for organizing my meals, moving, and carrying my own baggage. ‘My mother would be so worried about whether I would get home safely,’ Deepika recalled, revealing that she used to sleep in a taxi and that her mother would worry about her wellbeing. Looking back on that adventure now, I say, ‘Not bad, girl!’ You accomplished this on your own. However, there was no time to think at that point. In addition, Deepika said that she values ‘quality’ above ‘quantity’ when discussing her professional obligations and how she and Ranveer make time for one another. ‘What matters is not the amount of time we have together, but the quality of that time,’ she said. Although we like our alone time, we also enjoy spending time with our family. Keep checking back to Etimes for more news and updates.
