Dunki Drop 5 O Maahi: Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu's romance in desert will steal your heart | WATCH | Bollywood News – India TV

Jhalak brought forward on Monday at seven in the morning. And in the evening appeared the new song of ‘Dunky’ ‘O Mahi’. Shahrukh-Taapsee’s love blossomed in the sands of United Arab Emirates. The song is composed by Pritam and sung by ‘The One and the Only’ Arijit Singh. Shah Rukh-Arijit’s duo is again eye-catching.

Shah Rukh’s affinity with the desert of Amirshahi is long. That’s where Shahrukh’s signature pose and full glimpses of romance came out in this song. A few days ago, the trailer of Dunki came out. There are some glimpses of Raju Hirani’s world. However, the director does not want to break anything special with the film. So there is a warning below the video of ‘O Mahi’. It is clearly mentioned that this is the promo version, there is another version in the picture. That is, the director is keeping speculation alive.

This song is about selfless love. The signature line of the song – ‘O Mahi, O Mahi, O Mahi… Lo Mai Qayamat Tak Hua Tera’. That is till the last moment of death and even then I am only yours. The song is written by Irshad Kamil. Choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant. Shahrukh-Taapsee are playing the roles of Hardy and Mannu in this film. The audience will see the chemistry of this pair on screen for the first time.

Arijit Singh also sang Loot Put Gaya song from Dunki. A sweet love story came out in that song. But ‘O Mahi’ Said Hardy and Mannu’s mature love ‘dastaan’. Holding on to each other even in difficult situations, standing as each other’s shield, being tied to each other – such moments have come up in this song. Its background is desert.

The scene of Hardy and Mannu exchanging rings in the song’s visuals will make you fall in love all over again. Why Shahrukh is the king of romance at 58, is abundantly evidenced in the visuals of this song. In the last part of the song, there was a chilling scene. Hardy and Manu come into view while crossing the barbed wire with dust in the eyes of the army. Then the firing started, the landmines exploded. And avoiding that adversity, the lively race of the lovers, the fight for survival.

Shah Rukh reached the UAE last week and shot this song. The director has shot this song in just three days. This dance number is made for the promotion of the film. Sharing the glimpse of this song, Shah Rukh wrote, ‘Love, Ishq, Mohabbat, Love… We spend a lot of time saying these things. Sometimes opportunities do not match. Sometimes we don’t find the right words. This song is for all those who feel like this, say it now. Say today, tomorrow or everyday… Mere Ishkape Haq Hua Tera… Lo Mey Qayamat Tak Hua Tera…’.

Directed by Raju Hirani, Dunki is releasing on 21st December.
