Vicky Kaushal, who starred in Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, will be collaborating with director Laxman Utekar again. Utekar is working on Chhaava, a historical drama about Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The movie boasts a talented cast, with Kaushal playing the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai Bhonsale. The film also features the significant character of Aurangzeb.
Our sources have revealed that Akshaye Khanna is set to play the role of Aurangzeb in the much-anticipated film. According to an earlier report, filming is set to commence shooting in Mumbai in October. The initial schedule is planned for one week.
Earlier, as per our report, a source revealed that Anil Kapoor is also roped in to play an important role in the film.
On the work front, Vicky Kaushal is currently geared up for the release of his upcoming biopic Sam Bahadur, helmed by Meghna Gulzar. Rashmika Mandanna will next be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. The film is set to hit cinemas on December 1, 2023.
