In the viral video from a college event, there’s a person dressed as Mastani from the movie ‘Bajirao Mastani,’ a role famously portrayed by Deepika Padukone.
Meanwhile, on the LED screen in the background, a montage featuring Deepika’s pictures with individuals such as Siddhartha Mallya, Sushant Singh Rajput, Yuvraj Singh, and others is displayed.

As soon as the video made its way onto social media, her fans jumped in her defense. Fans have strongly criticized the university participants for their treatment of the ‘Fighter’ actress. They have condemned the act as character assassination and have raised concerns about the involvement of religious and personal aspects in the matter. Some fans have gone as far as calling for stringent action against those responsible for the skit.
