Actor Rashmika Mandanna reacted after a social media handle claimed that she has been charging Rs 4-5 crore per film after the success of her last release, Animal.
The actor shared a post which read, ‘Says who I wonder. After seeing all of this I think I should actually consider it, and if my producers ask why, then I’ll just say, ‘the media out there is saying this sir, and I think I should live up to their words. What do I do?’’
As soon as Rashmika shared her response, fans dropped comments underneath. One user wrote, ‘Ha ha, fitting reply.’ ‘What is ur remuneration before n after #Animal?’ one curious user wanted to know. One person shared, ‘Mass batting.’
Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal received polarising reviews upon release. The film made over Rs 900 crore at the ticket counter.
Besides Rashmika Mandanna, the film starred Ranbir Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles. Rashmika Mandanna is now looking forward to the release of Pushpa 2, which will release on August 15 alongside Ajay Devgn’s highly-anticipated Singham Again.
