Kareena Kapoor Khan opens up about accidentally playing cupid for Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh after she walked out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela

We all know that Ranveer Singh fell head over heels for Deepika Padukone during the making of Goliyon Ki Raasleela Raam-Leela. The couple got married after 6 years of dating and now they are expecting their first baby in September. But many might not know that Sanjay Leela Bhansali initially wanted to cast Kareena Kapoor Khan for the role of Leela. But before the film went on floors, Kareena exited the project, leading Deepika to take up the role opposite Ranveer.

In her latest interview with BBC, Kareena opened up about accidentally playing cupid for Deepika and Ranveer. When asked if Deepika and Ranveer ever thanked her for quitting Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela which led to their paths crossing and them becoming life partners, Kareena mentioned that she believes in destiny and whatever is meant to be in your life will happen, no matter what your circumstances or situation would be. She also added that all is written in the stars and everything is not written for everyone.
Kareena also shared that she doesn’t regret leaving the film, mentioning that maybe it would have been a very different film and maybe that was not the time for the people involved to come together.
Kareena recently delivered a hit with Crew, also starring Tabu and Kriti Sanon. She will next be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again where she will be seen with Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff,Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.
